In the 3rd case, the beneficiary should have given a letter to lc advising bank requesting them to send a swift message to issuing bank regarding beneficiary's rejection of amendment before negotiation of docs. In this case issuing bank cannot stop payment as amendment is invalid.

Dear all,
I have a question about price increases during the period of time when the irrevocable L/C at sight at AAA bank is active.
in my experience I have faced this issue. I know my bank will not release payment to my manufacturer/supplier. However I face a huge problem at that time, because I cannot deliver my goods and face a financial burtden.
How is it possible that Chinese suppliers are able to increase a price during thye valid period of an L/C. It is blackmail in a white collar way.

yours truly

In your 3rd case study, its late shipped then that is a discrepancy and buyer can reject documents without accepting from issuing bank. Then the issuing bank will hold the payment and will inform the negotiating bank about this.

Hope this is the procedure.
